My sessions are created from my own experiences and journey in life, motherhood, divorce and the ongoing onset of ageing. Facing a cocktail of emotions, stress, hormonal imbalance and changes in my physical body, it was during this stage of my life where I began the process of combining key principles of compassion, non-judgment, self-reflection and humour into my own practice. This helped me to understand and accept the changes not only within my physical self but mentally and emotionally as well.

I approach life with a willingness to learn, grow and to inspire other women who face similar challenges as well. “With each stage comes a new me, I need to re acquaint myself to it. Cultivating a lifelong friendship with myself built on acceptance and honesty is an ongoing process.

My approach to teaching Yin or Hatha Yoga is holistic, that encompasses the understanding of the physical mental and spiritual journey of the self. My classes merge the pearls of wisdom from both the Eastern and Western perspective. Each class encourages deep relaxation and the understanding of safe alignment. My sessions inspire playfulness, encourages interaction and self-exploration. Expect to be inspired and challenged in equal measures.

I have worked with many students with varying degrees of physical limitations. I mindfully work at guiding and giving each person the basic fundamentals in understanding their body movement. Helping them through their difficulties, creating a passion for learning and deepening their practice further.

With these tools in hand my students can feel confident and prepared. I am a firm believer that Yoga is an individual practice and no two bodies are ever alike.

"I strongly encourage in deepening one's practice by being safe rather than sorry" Principles I live by myself.

I believe in an ongoing education of yoga through workshops with experienced yoga teachers such as Matthew Sandford, Seane Corn, Max Strom, Phyil Lynch, Tracey Rich, Mark Stephens, Cindy Walker, David Keil and Jennifer Prugh.
