Seema Sondhi

Seema’s foray into yoga began after she got injured and suffered from three lumbar slip discs, the physical pain coupled with the agonizing mental battle lead her towards restorative yoga classes. The practise of pranayama, chanting and mediation lead to her body building strength and stamina and her mind gaining clarity.

Within a year she managed to discontinue the use of the belt that supported her spine. After this experience Seema began her learning process as the inner realization of the therapeutic and healing benefits of yoga began to dawn upon her. She is now a reputed wellness expert and lifestyle guru who has been involved with the fitness world for 20 years and has gained in-depth knowledge in the field.

She has been certified from the “International Sivananda Vedanta and Yoga Center” and studied under the tutelage of Matthew Sweeney and is certified to teach the Primary Series, Moon Sequence and Lion Sequence.

She has been featured in various TV shows, magazines, newspapers and has also authored 6 books on yoga.

Seema started The Yoga Studio where she teaches regular classes based on Ashtanga Vinyasa and cater to various level yoga class. In her teaching she focuses in alignment with respect to anatomy and keeping a focus on breathe The classes are healing , energetic, keeping the traditional essence of yoga.

Seema has also been teaching Yoga Therapy, Pre natal and Postnatal yoga classes. She also conducts 300 hour Yoga Teachers Training courses twice a year. Teachers trained under her are presently teaching around the world.
